Cynthia Shogreen is a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who brings a unique blend of professional expertise and personal experience to her work in the autism community. As a mother of three boys—two of whom are autistic—Cynthia’s journey as a parent has deeply informed her compassionate and empowering approach to supporting families and children with developmental diagnoses.

Her lived experience fuels her commitment to ensuring that families receive the guidance, resources, and understanding they need to navigate autism with hope and confidence. Cynthia strongly believes in the transformative power of early intervention, education, and community support, especially in underserved areas where access to care can be limited.

In her professional practice, Cynthia provides both mental health counseling and behavior analysis services tailored to meet the needs of autistic individuals and their families. She is known for creating supportive, inclusive environments where children can thrive and where parents feel seen, heard, and valued.

As a board member, Cynthia contributes her voice, clinical insight, and advocacy experience to the development of inclusive, culturally sensitive, and sustainable programs for neurodiverse students. Her goal is to help build systems that honor every child’s uniqueness and support families through every step of their journey.

Cynthia’s mission is simple yet profound: to ensure that every child is celebrated for who they are—and that no family ever feels alone.
